Jersey Club
Jersey club lives on the kick pattern, so this kit gives you three distinct kicks — click, punch and deep — to build the bounce from. 808s in C, F and A# plus a stab, a big clap and bright percs finish it. 135 BPM.
Play the pads below (keyboard works too), hit Play to hear the kit's signature groove, or open the Sequencer tab and program your own beat — then share it as a link or take the WAVs with you. Every sound is produced in-house, nothing resampled, nothing to clear.

DownloadThe bounce from Brick City
Jersey club came out of Newark — Brick City — in the 2000s, when DJ Tameil and the Brick Bandits crew took Baltimore club's uptempo house-meets-hip-hop formula and made it their own: harder kicks, more aggressively chopped samples, and a triplet kick bounce that nothing else in dance music quite has. Tameil put the difference simply: Baltimore liked horns; Jersey hit the kicks harder and chopped deeper.
The style runs 130–140 BPM in 4/4, but the signature is the kick pattern — the syncopated multi-kick "bounce" that stacks straight hits and triplet pairs inside a single bar, usually under staccato vocal chops and a big clap. Get the kicks right and the track is already dancing before anything else is added.
That's why this kit ships three kicks with genuinely different characters — a click, a punch and a deep one — so the pattern can breathe: same rhythm, alternating weights. 808s in C, F and A# plus an 808 stab handle the low accents, and a big clap, bright percs, bell and shaker cover the top.
Jersey Club — questions
What is the Jersey club kick pattern?
A syncopated bounce built from about five kick hits per bar: anchor hits on the downbeats with pairs pushed into triplet positions between them. Program it with two or three different kick sounds — like this kit's click, punch and deep — so the pattern pulses instead of machine-gunning.
What BPM is Jersey club?
130–140 BPM, same neighborhood as the Baltimore club it descends from. This kit suggests 135.
How is Jersey club different from Baltimore club?
Jersey took Baltimore's template and made it punchier: harder kicks, choppier and more staccato sample work, and the triplet kick bounce pushed to the front. Baltimore leaned more on breakbeats and horn stabs.
